Junior Tennis
Madison Racquet & Swim Club’s Junior Tennis Program is designed for kids of all levels is to have fun, learn the basics of the game, and advance to the next level by working hard.

10& under Tennis Winter 2011-2012
10 & under Tennis in the QuickStart format is an exciting new way to help children 10 and under learn to play the game. By resizing the court, racquets, balls and net, children develop basic skills faster and with more confidence. They can start rallying and playing games against each other sooner.

Junior Tennis Clinics Winter 2011-2012
We offer junior tennis clinics for juniors in grades 5-12. Clinics cover stroke techniques, footwork drills and strategy, focusing on a new skill each week. There are clinics for beginners through advanced intermediate players. Our junior development and high school programs include a day of supervised play each week.

ATP(Advanced Tournament Player) Winter 2011-12
Our ATP Program is designed for junior players ages 10-18 competing in USTA tournaments. It includes two days of drilling and fitness and one day of match play each week. Entry is available upon recommendation of Rick Fay, our Director of Tennis. Please contact the club to set up an evaluation.

Junior Team Tennis
This is a great program for the more advanced junior player offering competition and camaraderie. We play against teams in the Southern CT Jr Team Tennis League. During the fall season we plan to field teams in the 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, and 18 & under divisions.

Summer Jr Tennis Team
In the summer we also offer a junior interclub tennis team with two days of practice, one day of challenge matches, and two days of matches each week.

Summer Jr Tennis Clinics
Our summer junior tennis clinics are held in two-week sessions Monday- Friday throughout the summer. Children learn the basic tennis skills quickly with daily practice.

Summer High School Tennis
This program includes two days of practice a week in the late afternoon. Players in this program compete on our 18& under USTA team.
