Swim Fit & Swim Strong
Whether you are learning to swim for the first time, tuning up your swim stroke to become an efficient lap swimmer or gearing up for a triathlon, MRSC adult swim instructors will provide you with the tools to be a successful swimmer.
Instruction & Fitness in the Water
Madison Racquet & Swim Club provides open swimming lanes for adult swimmers seven days a week. Please check the Open & Lap Swim schedule regularly as open swim times can vary.
Private and semi-private lessons are also available for swimmers of all abilities.
Water is the perfect medium for increasing strength, flexibility, muscle tone and endurance, and MRSC water fitness classes are perfect for all fitness levels and all ages. Whether you are getting back in shape or cross training, water fitness is gentle on your joints.

Aqua Fitness Classes
The Madison Racquet & Swim club offers classes, instruction, and training programs for those who want to take advantage of the low-impact workouts the pool offers, to swim masters and triathletes looking to improve their performance through training.
A vigorous, fun workout with a variety of endurance and resistance training using equipment to build core and muscle strength. All levels welcome.
Tuesday & Thursday 8:00-9:00 am
A fun and exciting class designed for active older adults, increasing muscle strength, flexibility and range of motion through water exercise. The focus of this class is on building core control. Participants do not need swimming skills.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 12:00-1:00 pm Indoor Season Only
Private & Semi-Private
Private & semi-private swim lessons are available for swimmers of all abilities. Great for beginners looking to build comfort in the water or advanced swimmers who want to tune up their technique.
Open & Lap Swim
View our schedule to view when lap lanes and family swim blocks are available. Reservations are required during Phase 2 Reopening due to capacity restrictions. You may reserve your lane or block online or by calling the front desk up to 7 days in advance. Reservations are not accepted prior to that. Scheduling is subject to change based on capacity and regulations. Maximum one person per lap lane with one lounge chair. Maximum 8 people in a family in a family swim block
