Focus on Fundamentals

Our junior tennis programs focus on mastering the fundamentals of the game. Our pros teach tennis with a fun supportive style that kids (and parents) appreciate

10 & Under Tennis

Junior Tennis Clinics

At Madison Racquet and Swim Club we use the USTA Net Generation format which provides a unique opportunity for younger players to be introduced to the fundamentals of the game. The courts, rackets and nets have been resized for children who are learning the game. Special balls with varying compression have been designed for different levels starting with the red ball and progressing through orange and green dot to the yellow ball and a full sized court. This makes it easier to play and learn proper techniques.

Our goal for all levels in our junior program is to have fun, learn the fundamentals of the game and advance to the next level by working hard. Our three levels of development include recreational, introduction to competitive tennis, and competitive tennis. Please contact us if you have any questions.

10 & Under USTA Team

We offer a special clinic that is designed to give our competitive 10 and under team the edge during USTA matches. This clinic covers advanced technique and strategy all while having fun. We teach our clinic in actual game style situation to ensure the kids hit as many balls as possible.

Junior Development

We often refer to our Junior Development Program as our introduction to ATP. This program works on the building blocks for competitive play. We use green dot balls so players can begin to learn how to construct strategic points.

These players are encouraged to play USTA Junior Team Tennis and Mad Team Matches.

MAD Team Tennis

A great way to develop match play skills followed by socializing with other players in our Junior Development Program, 10 & Under USTA Team, and ATP programs. On Friday evenings players compete on teams against others within the club. Pizza and beverages in our lounge follow match play.
